Jessica has over 25 years of experience as a healthcare professional, working across both private and statutory sectors, using her strong communication skills to develop good working relationships with clients, their families and the multidisciplinary team.
With a background in occupational therapy, and as an experienced case manager she understands the vital importance of timely rehabilitation. She is also a skilled advocate and facilitator for the best care and outcomes for clients. She has a client-centred and collaborative approach, bringing together those involved, to provide the client with the highest quality of cost effective support. She works closely with the client, their family and the treating team, to assess, plan and evaluate progress, focusing on short and long-term positive outcomes. She has overseen paediatric cases into adulthood, supporting the transition through education and into adult services.
Jessica is skilled in professional assessment, advice and sourcing and overseeing therapy and treatment for children and young people, including those with complex care needs, to help them achieve their potential. She is experienced in setting up employed and agency care packages, including recruiting and managing 24-hour care teams for complex clients with regulated activity.
