A physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience, Rachel repeatedly demonstrates a high level of skill in supporting clients and their families who have suffered life changing injuries as a result of catastrophic or severe physical and psychological trauma.
She is experienced in managing a wide range of conditions including brain and spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic/polytrauma as well as post traumatic symptoms often affecting mental health and behaviour. Rachel has extensive knowledge of acute, community and statutory services and for ten years managed a residential and outpatient service for adults with complex physical disability.
Rachel prides herself on her friendly empathic approach which enables her to build solid relationships with her clients based on respect and mutual trust. She is a skilled communicator and proactive problem solver who delivers goal orientated, evidence based reports that are both thorough and insightful.
Rachel works from a strong evidence base and sound professional judgement which provides her with the tools to work collaboratively with other practitioners, ensuring the best options for her clients at all times.
She has an in depth understanding of the litigation process and her role as case manager within this. Rachel works well under pressure especially where there may be budgetary constraints.
