Louise is a gifted and compassionate case manager with comprehensive experience working with complex physical, cognitive, and neurological disabilities, including brain injury and major trauma in children, babies, and adults. With vast clinical and case management experience, she has managed complex and challenging situations with tact and quiet authority.
Her clinical expertise includes Specialist Children's Nurse, Nurse Manager and A&E Nurse in hospitals, special schools, and the community. She continues to enhance her knowledge of caring for patients who have experienced trauma and catastrophic injuries by still working occasionally as an A&E nurse.
Louise is an articulate and confident communicator who adapts her written and verbal reports to meet diverse audiences' needs. She has a special affinity for explaining medical conditions to children and young people. Her experience managing large MDTs, recruiting, and supervising teams of support workers and therapists means she is equally well-regarded by clients, their families, medical and legal professionals. Louise has also worked extensively in safeguarding, which gives her a wealth of experience of dealing with challenging circumstances and having difficult conversations.
