With a background in occupational therapy and having worked as a case manager since 2014, Hazel has a wealth of experience in rehabilitation including neurorehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputees and multiple, complex health conditions.
Hazel has a specialist interest in mental health working with adults and children experiencing complex mental health conditions. She is also a Mental Capacity Assessor.
She is skilled in disability analysis, medical and functional reporting and works as an expert witness.
Hazel has been a director of Amazing Rehab since 2016. Her team of therapists work alongside her, to deliver collaborative, person centred, evidence-based, intensive and goal-oriented rehabilitation and recovery pathways to support the clients and their families towards an outcome they value.
Hazel has gained approval as a Disability Analyst from the Department for Work and Pensions and has provided medical and functional assessments with comprehensive reports for individuals with physical and mental health difficulties, including acquired brain injury.
Hazel has also worked as a specialist educator in a national evidence-based programme to empower individuals in self-management and prevention of deterioration of their health condition.
