Emma is an advanced BABICM practitioner with over 20 years’ clinical experience working both as an OT and case manager with adults and children who have highly complex medical and physical conditions. Emma has extensive experience of working with acute and long term acquired brain injury and associated trauma. She has excellent experience of recruiting for and managing 24/7 care teams for clients with complex care needs.
Emma has worked as an occupational therapist within the NHS both in the acute and community sectors, including intensive care, and is a high-level neurorehabilitation specialist. She understands the complexities that arise from the aftermath of severe trauma and the impact of this on the client and their family.
Emma is a pro-active and highly efficient case manager who uses her clinical and organisational expertise to identify the key care, support and rehabilitation issues and effectively coordinate teams to ensure the client’s needs are comprehensively met. Emma believes in being a strong advocate for her clients and their families and recognises the crucial importance of good communication to drive positive engagement and outcomes from all involved.
Emma is also an experienced Care Expert and has a robust understanding of the litigation process.
