Clair is a dynamic and creative rehabilitation case manager with a background in Occupational Therapy and has over 29 years’ experience of rehabilitation for clients with life changing injuries. She has considerable knowledge and skill in a variety of community rehabilitation roles across the social care and housing sector, working with adults and children who have experienced amputation, spinal injuries, and orthopaedic trauma as well as acute and long term neurological conditions including brain injury.
Clair also has specialist knowledge with hand injuries and upper limb rehabilitation. She is highly competent with prescribing bespoke assistive equipment and housing adaptations, moving, and handling risk assessments, as well as the facilitation recommendation and oversight of care delivery including the training of care staff.
Due to her high level of rehabilitative expertise Clair has worked in a consultative role with multi-disciplinary teams in the NHS to prevent hospital admission, maximise function and reduce risk for patients with a wide range of complex orthopaedic, medical, and neurological injuries and conditions.
Clair is practical and easy to relate to, she is committed about working collaboratively with clients and their stakeholders to help to restore function and quality of life, she has developed a reputation as an organised and conscientious case manager with a great deal of expert knowledge that she uses to effectively plan treatment and support her clients.
