Alim Tunkara has a background in neuroscience and neuropsychiatry. He provides specialised support to clients with complex traumatic brain injuries and operates and consults as an Independent Case Management Assistant.
Alim Tunkara has worked with clients with different clinical presentations of acquired brain injuries since 2020. He has in-depth knowledge and experience working and implementing neurorehabilitation support plans tailored to and personalised for clients, including consulting in care planning with multidisciplinary teams and executing the implementation of rehabilitation and therapy plans.
Alim’s experience centres on supporting paediatric clients and young adults through critical transitional periods. His speciality focuses on clients with clinical presentations under the overall behavioural bracket of neuropsychiatry, neurobehaviors, clinical psychology, and neurocognitive impairments. Alim has an excellent understanding of the interplay of cross-disciplines and challenges faced with comorbid pathologies, inclusive but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, emotional dysregulation, and mood disorders and dysexecutive functioning.
