Abigail is an occupational therapist and has more than 15 years of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation in moderate to severe brain injury and spinal cord injury. She is an advanced member of BABICM.
Abigail works with clients coping with cognitive impairments, challenging behaviours, co-morbidities, mental health concerns and pre-injury health histories. She is experienced in recruiting support worker teams and providing ongoing training and supervision. Abigail supports and facilitates a client’s desire for community living regardless of the complexity of their needs.
Abigail is highly skilled in facilitating complex hospital discharges, assessing and managing home care packages, organising equipment, advocating for her clients as well as developing and managing comprehensive client-centred, goal based, outcome measured rehabilitation programs.
